The String Trio was written at the request of Allison Cameron for the contemporary music series Between Animals and Automatons and was performed in Toronto by The Wheel Trio in February, 1994. The recording for this album took place at Reaction Studios (Toronto) in May, 1994. ORMOND JOBIN, engineer.

No Moon No Flowers (for woodwind quintet) was composed in 1984-85 at the request of Rudolf Komorous for the Victoria International Festival of Music (1985). It was first performed in 1985 by the Pacific Wind Quintet. The present recording, by The Mount Royal Woodwind Quintet, was made at The Beach Audio Productions Inc. (Calgary) in June, 1994. CHRIS McINTOSH, engineer.

Discreet Angel (for solo guitar) was recorded by Annette Chrétien in 1990 and given as part of a gallery installation in Calgary. The recording for this CD was made by Annette in Ottawa, May, 1994. BRAD SUMMERFIELD, engineer.

Sigrid (for Hardanger fiddles and pump organs) was recorded and engineered by Mark Ellestad at Hexagon Studio (Calgary) in August, 1994.
