Mark Ellestad (b. 1954) lives in Calgary, Alberta (Canada). He began composition studies with Murray Adaskin (Victoria, B.C.) later obtaining a B. Mus (Univ. of Alberta) and a M. Mus (Univ. of Victoria, where he studied with Rudolf Komorous).
